The short answer: our custom pools start at $75,000. Most of the complete backyards we build, with a pool, spa and outdoor living, fall between $100,000 and $200,000. Estate projects with multiple structures run $200,000 and up.

What drives the price
| Factor | What to expect |
|---|---|
| Size, shape and depth | More surface area means more steel, gunite, tile, coping and interior finish. Deep ends, benches and sun shelves add shell work. |
| Spa | A spa typically adds $18,000–$35,000 depending on whether it's spillover, raised or detached, and how it's finished. |
| Water and fire features | A sheer descent typically adds $2,000–$4,000 each. A full stone water wall can add $10,000–$20,000 or more. Fire bowls add gas lines and fixtures. |
| Finishes | Waterline tile, coping, interior finish and decking material are where budgets move the most: plaster vs. pebble, concrete vs. natural stone. |
| Equipment and automation | Variable-speed pumps, heater, salt system, LED lighting and app control typically run $10,000–$15,000 or more. |
| Outdoor living | Patio covers, outdoor kitchens, fire features and turf can add $15,000–$60,000 or more depending on scope. |
| Site conditions | Tight access, slopes, retaining walls, rock, drainage work and long utility runs all add cost. We identify these at the site visit. |
Ranges reflect typical Ridge projects in 2026 and are a guide, not a quote. Your proposal is based on your site and design.
Why we publish pricing
You shouldn't have to sit through a two-hour sales meeting to find out a builder isn't in your range. Publishing our numbers saves both of us time and lets the first conversation be about your backyard.
What's in a Ridge proposal
- A 3D design you've approved
- A written scope that lists what's included and what isn't
- Standard selections included (for example, 6x6 porcelain waterline tile), with the price difference shown for any upgrade you choose
- A payment schedule tied to construction milestones
- A construction timeline
Questions
What is the minimum budget for a Ridge project?
Our custom pools start at $75,000. Below that, we're usually not the right fit, and we'll tell you so at the first conversation.
Why don't you give a price over the phone?
We can give you a realistic range on the first call. A firm price needs a site visit and a design, because access, soil, slope, utilities and finishes all change the number.
Is the 3D design included?
Yes. The consultation and design process are part of working with us.
How are payments structured?
Payments are tied to construction milestones, so you pay as work is completed rather than up front. The schedule is spelled out in your contract.
Can I finance a pool?
Yes. We work with Lyon Financial, which specializes in pool and backyard loans. See the financing page.
